Short CV: Ajay Deshpande is the CTO of Rakya Technologies, a healthcare start-up where he provides the technical leadership and is responsible for product roadmaps. He started his career at Bell Labs, Murray Hill, NJ as a C/C++ programmer working on main memory based database systems. On returning back to India he worked with Persistent Systems Ltd for 12 years in various roles. His experience as Principal Architect includes end to end System Design, helping customers with Technology Roadmaps and System Modelling for performance, scalability, etc. Ajay has built complex Enterprise Software like Messaging Systems, Large Scale Advertising systems and Enterprise Social Software. He has a Masters in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Title of Talk 1: SMAC Technologies and the Future
Synopsis: Social Media, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud Computing Technologies (SMAC for short) have dramatically changed the world and will keep doing so in the next decade or so. This talk explores what these technologies are and how they are changing the world. The talk also touches upon how what people need to do to be prepared for a future of advanced SMAC.

Title of Talk 2: The Evolution of Modern Web Applications
Synopsis: This talk is highly technical and discusses the need for complex JavaScript frameworks. It walks through the evolution of the web applications frameworks and discusses how the Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern has made its way into the browser.

Note: The above are two samples of the kinds of talks I can give. I have more than fifteen such topics. I can speak on technology trends with their implications at large and I can speak on deep technical subjects related to computer science. I take pride in customizing my talks depending on the audience we have. Further I also have a set of talks specifically as mentorship for student audiences.
